Please beware of this company and it's practices, as Wilshire Dental Care and its staff have a reputation for pushing additional services on their patients that are above and outside of any rates that the Insurance company has negotiated.
It seems to me to a blatant and ongoing practice of this office to assign dental treatments to Dr. Bijan Afar, (whom is not a general dentist, but a surgeon) and charge fees for services well above the Insurance companies negotiated rates and they do this by misleading you and misrepresenting the facts of your policy.
I even had the insurance company call the office to figure out why they were quoting me much higher rates than negotiated, only to be met with a cancellation for questioning their practices.
Make sure you verify any procedure and it's costs with your insurance company before you have any treatments.
