On 7-18-09 at approximately 6pm I meet Linda K. Mayer at the Triple Diamond San Dimas location to discuss and sign offers for 5 properties. Upon arriving I expected to receive a cooperative “team work style” relationship with Triple Diamond but was disappointed when I received high pressure and uncompromising aggressiveness to submit all my offers with my maximum lender offering price of $250,000. The first thing I did was ask Linda give me her expert opinion of what prices each property should be offered at. After digesting all the advice Linda had to offer me I then told Linda what prices I would feel more comfortable submitting my offer for. Immediately was bombarded by reasons I was completely wrong and stupid for giving my opinion. She suggested 16% above listing. I received a feeling like I was somehow annoying Linda and her coworker (didn't get her name). I know its a sellers market. When I asked for reasoning behind these price levels all I given was the walk around. I asked Linda to show me some comparable houses that have sold in the area but only received similar SOLD listings that were way under Linda's suggested prices. I even explained to Linda that at $250,000 I would be dangerously cutting it close to no affording my payments. After 30 minutes of hearing why I am too stupid to decide what prices I WILL END UP PAYING I told Linda I am going to look for someone who will listen to me and work more as a team; Linda then replied “good luck finding someone else”. I will tell all my friends and family not to consider Triple Diamond which includes my brother and sister that are currently looking in the market for a home.
