This company left a TERRIBLE impression on me.
My grandmother was moving from Florida to Georgia. And instead of coming down there, and moving her myself, we decided to hiring a moving company.
After coming to an agreement with our representative, she went AWOL. We agreed that she would have her stuff picked up on a Monday, instead they called us on the Thursday before saying that they were coming to pick up her stuff on Friday (the following day). This was unacceptable, as we thought we would have another 3 days to pack, and her stuff was not all in boxes.
We called, and couldn't get a hold of our representative, so we ended up speaking with a very rude woman who would not let us talk. She talked over us, and changed the contract to allot for the Friday moving date, without our signature. Claiming 'that's not what it [the contract] said' when we already had a copy signed and verified.
After being hung up on 4 times, I called from another phone number, and spoke with a man claiming to be the owner (I later found out - he was not) and that he would not talk to us. After finally speaking with him some more, and some screaming on both of our parts, he finally said "I will run my business the way I want to. I am going to come up to [Georgia], kick your ass, and f*ck your garbage people!" We immediately cancelled their services, and told them that if they showed up to pick up my Grandmother's items, there would be a police officer waiting there with a warrant for assault.
Then they tried to fight us for the deposit, even after they physically threatened, and verbally abused my family and myself.
These people are idiots, and should not be allowed to have a work permit.
