I was also taken for over $3,500 on November 21, 2009 at the Montclair location. Same story, delivery was never made to me, and I can't find these people. I contacted the salesperson on his cell phone, and of course, he claims he no longer works there. There is no way the employees can work there, and not know what is going on. They all should be arrested. It is so frustrating that there is no agency or organization to help or stop something like this. I would have never thought it would be possible to commit criminal acts such as this, and not end up behind bars. Having a business listed as a corporation should not allow the person to be protected when illegal acts are being committed. I'm sure he is raking in millions from ripping off innocent consumers all over California, and there is no one to stop him. So far, I have registered complaints with the following: County of LA Consumer Affairs, Ofc of the Attorney General, Federal Trade Commission, Pissed Consumer, The Consumer Warning Network, cbs5.com, cbs13.com, and the FBI Tips and Public Leads. If everyone sends their complaint to the FBI and CBS network sites, we would have a much better chance of getting some attention and help from the networks or a legal agency with exposing Troy Nihart. The more complaints that go across their desks about Troy Nihart, Save Big Liquidators, and Rainmaker Liquidators, the more chance of getting their help.
The address Troy Nihart has listed with the California Secretary of State for the Rainmaker business is a residence, which I believe is his residence. The backyard of the house is full of the goods he is selling. He listed the house for sale on 11/6/09, so he is getting away from here. It looks like Cozy Sheets is a business being ran by Tammy Sue Ryan out of the home. Troy Nihart also uses her name as an alias, Troy Ryan. I've tried having papers served to him at this address, but no one is ever there, and the lights are always off. So, either he is already gone, or he's really become a pro at avoiding being served. I'm sure the Agent for Service of Process he listed for Save Big, Christopher A. Johnson, has tipped him off to the serving, because he was served first. I filed the small claims case before reading about the attempt to get a class action started.
