Purchasing patio furniture from Rainmakers Liquidators, A.K.A. Save Big Liquidators has been a HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!! I purchased my furniture back in May, 2009 for $2,442.99. We bought furniture in Northridge, CA from a big showroom. When we found furniture we liked, we were given the option to either pay cash or check or credit card, but if we used a credit card, would be charged a ridiculous fee for going this route. TRUST ME< USE A CREDIT CARD SO YOU HAVE A CHANCE TO RECOVER YOUR MONEY BACK IF AND WHEN NECCESARY>
When our furniture was supposed to be ready for pick up, we showed up to get it and were told we don't have it. Come back in 2 weeks. We did, when we showed up the 2nd time, we saw the showroom had packed up and left this site!! We found out from a stocker nearby that they moved to Costa Mesa, (this is about an hr and a half away.) We still went anyway to find that they still did not have the furniture but that for our troubles would deliver it free of charge. Well, after months of getting the run around that my furniture was on back order,it was sent to the wrong address, their computers were down, and still never getting my patio furniture months later,finally asked for a refund for the money I spent.
I got thru to Mr.Jared Berry who did try to resolve it and I was authorized for a full refund on August 13th. We are now in the end of January people!! Still no money! They ended up changing their business name to Save Big Liquidators- to maybe loose clients who are seeking them diligently, like me.. They also keep trying to tell me when I get through to the office, that I must wait in the order of authorized refund dates. That no one can jump ahead in line, and that I have to wait my turn.. This is FALSE as some people were fortunate to hire an attorney and get their money ASAP. When bringing this to "Leslie's" attention, she just fumbled her words and said that she would have to "research it" and get back to me. She never did. Surprise, surprise.(Some people have made their purchases, and got authorized much, much later than I have, & already have their $$ back! Tell me how this makes sense?!) It took me awhile to write this review because in good faith I had hoped to finally resolve this issue and get my money back, but it has been ridiculous! And fair is fair and enough is enough! I urge you consumers when searching for your summer patio furniture to not purchase anything from these people due to their awful service and Business practices! Afterall, you do want to receive what you pay for right?
