Same story as above - unauthorized charges to my AT&T account for 'web hosting' services. I did not authorize any charges to my account nor did I authorize anything from this company.
Here is how they work - we have a part time B&B and I am constantly receiving calls asking to 'update our directory' or 'offer a free trial' or to 'verify your records'. I make it a practice to try to not answer any questions in the affirmative -- they will tape you saying 'yes' and then edit the tape out of context to where they have a recording stating 'yes' in regards to authorizing the charges or ordering their services -- which, by the way, are non-existent.
These are thieves -- pure and simple.
I have contacted the Florida State Attorney generals Office, Economic Crimes Division. Their Phone Number is (954) 712 - 4600. They told me today they are opening a 'preliminary case' on this company due to the high number of complaints received.
I urge each of you to do the same and maybe the state of Florida will stop these crooks.
