OMG if i could just cut and paste the last two complaints I would. Basically, we were told that the .com site was no longer available and to take the .net temporarily until the .com was working. Well, the .com was available. they had emailed a contract that if you had any questions you weren't able to get a hold of anyone to ask them. It was supposed to be 49.95 for 3 years. Instead they charged us $1755 = 49.95 a month when we used to pay 5.95 a month. why the heck would we agree to that!?? It was never brought up that there was a rebate involved until i called about it. They said they told us and they have it on transcripts from the phone call. Anyone can write anything unless you hear the actual recording. So we received a receipt of them charging us $1800! How kind of them. We called again to ask about when the rebate was going to come because they said we would receive paperwork to fill out and send back. they said it should be coming. 3 months later, nothing came. Called again. Sent emails, etc... after sending daily emails, we got the following response: Please contact GISOL on 12/14/08 at (323) 924-1109 in order to receive your Rebate which ensures a credit of $1755.36 on the aforementioned date. This rebate entails a full credit minus services prepaid for 12 months at $3.57 per month ($42.84/year). This email shall serve as your guarantee of the GISOL Sponsored Rebate. It is solely your responsibility to contact GISOL on the aforementioned date, if you do not contact GISOL in order to obtain the rebate, GISOL will continue to bill you at the regular monthly rate of $49.95/mo prepaid for 36 months. This notice will serve as acknowledgement that if any Chargeback Dispute is processed by GISOL concerning your account, this Rebate will be forfeited forthwith. Now, i called about it because waiting another 6 months for my money is not cool. Tried calling the number given with only a busy signal ALL DAY (and days to come). Called the 866 number pressed 2 for billing, got Brian from tech support. He gave me the same 924 number for billing. I called 866 again this time pressed 1 for customer support and surprise got Brian again (this time he didn't say tech support). I then spoke to vince (sr. tech) and once we went through everything again and he hung up on me when i told him about pressing the choices and only getting Brian. he refused to give another extension for a billing department supervisor. here's the kicker: office hours are mon-fri 10-5 PST and Brian definitely said billing DOES NOT work on sundays. Why did I ask that? Well, 12/14/08 the day we have to call in order to receive our rebate, the only day we are allowed to call, or our rebate is null and voided, is on a SUNDAY. So, if i call on sunday, no one will answer. if i dispute it with my credit card, they will send the bogus contract that was given to us under false information and based on a previous customer, the credit card will charge it back again. What do we do!?!?!? If i call again, I'll just get hung up on. Class action suit is certainly needed: please contact me at jnajera@excite.com with a heading of GISOL FRAUD. Thanks!
