Gaia Online reminds me now of a gasoline company. You're paying an outrageous price for gasoline, knowing that in the end of the year, they will announce record breaking profits. Why do I compare it to that? You're getting screwed at the pump, and with Gaia you're getting screwed at the keyboard. When you buy things with "Gaia Cash" (you must use real money to buy the cash) the virtual value will chance without warning. This isn't fair to the paying customer, and it works quite well in Gaia's favor. How is this a good business?
