I purchased my SD501 on December 18, 2009 and received it 3 days later...The Enagic company has been a dream to work with...no issues with the machine and customer service is always well staffed, professional, and very knowledgeable. I've always had my questions answered no matter how trivial they may have seemed.
When we got our machine, I went out and bought a ORP tester ($95) to see if this machine was in fact making the right levels of pH and -ORP as I saw in the demos...well to my delight, I was getting spot on pH and my -ORP reading was consistently above -650mv...meaning I'm getting extremely great anti-oxidant water quality. One of my relatives went with a cheap knock off competitor's machine that I almost bought and was only able to get -145mv and only by using extremely low water pressure...she's sending the machine back now, after I brought my machine over this weekend (we travel with it everywhere!). I made her 18 gallons of the Kangen water before we left and she was amazed that the machine didn't automatically shut off like hers does after about 3 gallons (some feature her machine has for overheating...what is that? My machine processes hundreds of gallons a day for our family and friends and never overheats!).
My wife and I love our SD501...we never leave home without the water...and we are the healthiest we have ever been or felt. This water processor has been a God send...
