Is Diamond Gate Financial a modification scammer ???
Look up the address for Diamond Gate Financial on Google Earth and conduct a street view. Either it doesn't exist or it is in an abandoned building in a decrepit old strip mall. The complaints that have been posted to the home page of Trustlink sound just like the scam that I was victimized with. These crooks contact you and offer to conduct a forensic audit to see if you qualify for one of the many programs that are available (only you have not heard of them before because they have the inside information!). Then they take your money and string you along for months and months. In many instances they lure you in with fake good reviews that have been posted to Trustlink. Then once the complaints start piling in and consumers start contacting the State Attorney Generals offices (in multiple states) the phone lines and email addresses shut down. RED FLAG WARNING: It is illegal in nearly every state in the U.S. to charge an upfront fee for modification services. The crooks know that you are desperate and use this to their advantage. There are legitimate programs out there, but you need to go through resources such as HUD, an FDIC insured bank, or try negotiating on your own with your mortgage company. Don't give these thugs your money, you will be in far worse shape by the time you realize that you have been scammed.
