I purchased an APEX Digital Converter for my office in August of 2009. During the set up, we realized that there was something wrong with the converter box and contacted APEX's customer service. The determined that the remote control was defected and asked that I send the remote control to them, which I did. Since then, I have mane over 10 or 15 phone calls to their customer service department asking about the remote control and when it would be repaired and returned. Each call has resulted in a response to call back in two hours or two-three days and they will have a status update from the "warehouse" on the device. It is now the third week of March (7 months), and I have not received the remote control. I called again this morning and spoke with the supervisor on duty and have received the same response that I have each time I called. It seems that APEX if very inconsiderate of its customers and the financial loss that we have suffered not being able to use the converter box for seven months, not being able to return the box to the store where purchased because the remote control is missing and APEX has never offered to refund me the money. I would like to encourage any potential customers to reconsider purchasing any products from APEX Digital to prevent having to endure the amount of loss and frustration that me and my organization have suffered. Unfortunately, there is absolutely nothing positive that I can say about APEX Digital, the product I purchased or its customer service.
