My daughter Ashley, a high school senior,was called on her cell number and was told she won a $1000.00 and all she had to do was subscribe to a magazine of her choice. She picked out ESPN Magazine for a year and she never received her $1000.00 prize and was being billed for $221.68 inorder to cancel her order. I called the company Active Periodicals and requested to speak with a Manager and spoke to Crystal. She was very unprofessional and stated that my daughter contacted them and she placed the order for 4 magazine subscriptions,not one. I requested to hear the recording of the order and it was a bad recording and I only heard pieces of words of what my daughter was stating. My daughter remembers the call and she only ordered one magazine. She did not receive any prize and no magazine so I told Crystal that my daughter was not going to pay and that she was targeted scammed by Active periodicals.
