If I could rate A Professional Move Inc any lower than a 1 I would. From the begining they are the most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with. First, the actual cost for the move ended up 2x the amount estimated, 2nd, I waited almost a month for my belongings to arrive from CA to IL. This is only after I found out 2 weeks into the supposed delivery time that my belongings were still in the warehouse. Once my belongings arrived, their subcontractor was rude, obnoxious, and very disrespectful. He was alone and I had to hire help for him to unload the truck. He refused to bring my belongings to my house because he didn't want to walk that far (about 200 ft) and he began throwing my belongins off of the truck. When I offered to rent a U-haul to help him he refused to use it unless I paid him an astronomical additional fee. Once the shipment was off the truck, which was into a Uhaul that I had to unload into my house, I found that over 2/3 of my belongings are MISSING!! Including items from my father who recently passed away. The owner whom still has no apparent name and no one knows who it is, refuses to return my calls. I am now in the process of filing litigation against them for their behavior. But how do I put a price on my father's belongings whom I will never see again? I will never use this company again. They have no business being in business.
