I interviewed 5 contractors to fix my master bathroom, replace the tile floor with bamboo floor throughout the house, and remodel my kitchen. I hired 1StopKF, my 4th interviewee, Jude Joudeh, due to his reasonable quote, professionalism, and most importantly--he was highly recommended by my aunt and uncle. They both had positive experiences with Jude and the products that his company delivered--beautiful kitchen for my aunt and an appealing, fully remodeled home for my uncle's family.
I'm grateful for my decision to hire 1StopKF. I started out with projects of $40K...but because I was satisfied with the beautiful products, especially my master bathroom and kitchen, I ended up paying the company a total of $77K for additional projects over a 6-month period. Jude was creative, fair, informative, and accommodating. He'd helped me prioritize and worked with my vision as well as financial limitations as we progressed.
I understand timing is an important factor for consumers, and I cannot speak to the promptness of his delivery, because it was not my priority. My financial situation was restricted, so I needed longer time to save money and pay as we moved forward. Besides, it was more important for me to focus on team work and quality craftsmanship.
**Jude is super creative. Do pick his brain. There’s no need for a designer if you work with him.
**Jude and his subcontractors were very informative. They took the time to explain the process and helped me understand how things worked. I was well educated…I now understand the steps to build a shower or a kitchen island!
**1StopKF is fair and reasonable. With $77K worth of projects, of course there were opportunities for mistakes. However, Jude took ownership of mistakes made by his crew, and fixed them properly. For example, the floor in my master shower was not functionally leveled; he had his workers demolished and retiled the whole floor (11’x7’). The vanities were scratched due to construction work, and he offered to refinish them. I don’t accept mediocre work, and I’m glad they don’t deliver mediocrity.
I highly recommend Jude Joudeh. In fact, another family member recently hired Jude to remodel his house, and it was another satisfying, amazing make-over. It's been a blessing to work with a contractor who values quality craftsmanship, fairness, education, and creativity. It's also much more fun to work with someone who thinks outside of the box...
