Hi everyone, I’m really struggling right now and looking for some advice. My boyfriend has been dealing with alcohol addiction for a while, and despite all his promises to quit, he keeps relapsing. It’s starting to impact both of our lives, and I feel like I’ve reached a point where just supporting him isn’t enough anymore. I’ve been researching different treatment options, and I found Pacific Interventions, which offers a service specifically focused on Interventions for alcohol addiction. From what I’ve read, it’s designed to help families or loved ones take a more structured approach to getting someone the help they need. They organize a professional interventionist who guides you through the process, helping plan the right timing and messaging to get the person into treatment. I’m considering using this service, but I’m also nervous. Has anyone else done an intervention for someone they love? How did it go? I want to make sure I’m doing the right thing for him and not making the situation worse. I love him so much, and I just want to see him get better. If you’ve had experience with interventions, or if you know about this specific program at Pacific Interventions, I’d really appreciate any advice or insight!
