Trying to find out about LSH Solutions. Offered to work on a loan mod for us - first and second - for 2495. Anyone know about this company?

Hi Tom,

The BBB in LA gives the company a C+ rating probably because they're new and they have no background information yet. Also, since October 2009 it is illegal in California to charge an upfront fee for a loan modification.

Have you tried calling a HUD-approved nonprofit housing counselor? You can speak with a certified counselor by calling 888-995-4673. They can evaluate your housing options, open lines of communication with mortgage lenders, negotiate a loan modification, and help you with household budgeting, all at no cost.

Also, check out the "loan modification" tagged questions here on this forum by clicking on the Popular Tags to the left.

They helped me- but for a fee. It all comes down to whether you can do it yourself. That obviously would be best. have you tried to modify directly with your lender.
