Unbelievably BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!

This company has horrible customer service on every level. We had issues at the service department, but this review is about the finance company. I don't know what computer system they use, but it's definitely anti-customer. They consistently send late notices before the payment due date. That should have been a clue. But we didn't want to go through the hassle of refinancing.
We did pay late recently due to my husband forgetting, but I paid it. I could even SEE the payment on the HMF website payment history....but they said we were late and couldn't find the payment. So I asked them to refund the late fee when they saw the payment finally...but they said they had to send it to the research team to investigate. I asked if they would contact me when they got THEIR mistake fixed. They said no, they were unable to do that. They can send me ALL KINDS of late notices, but they can't call to perform BASIC customer service. I'm refinancing and will probably increase my payment, but I don't want them to get a SINGLE PENNY MORE OF MY MONEY!!!!!
